Family Reunion

We went to a family reunion at Heise Hotsprings in Idaho this last weekend. It was our first experience tent camping with our kids. They had a great time and slept well in the tent, so we may have to attempt it again. :)

I didn't take very many pictures while I was there, I was having fun too. But the few I got were good ones. Eleanor has reached a cling-to-mommy stage, but that didn't stop her cousins from trying to get her to let them hold her. At one point Justin, in this picture, was holding Eleanor's pacifier and sippy cup hostage to get her to come to him. It didn't work, but it was sure funny to watch. I tried to convince him that in 6 months she would be over the separation anxiety and would be more than willing to go to anyone by then. I don't think he believed me. Penelope loved her cousins and took full advantage of the attention. She had so much fun that she wore herself completely out. This is a picture of her at about 9 in the morning, oblivious to everything including Aaron packing up all of our stuff in the same tent and cousins, Aunts and Uncles walking into the tent to get a better look at her.

Oh Baby!

Baby # 3 is on it's way! Had an ultrasound today of the little peanut and it looks like we will be having the first January baby on both the Heaton and Cox sides of the family. January 7th seems like a long way away, but it will come all too quickly I am sure. Lots of things just got added to my to-do list. :)

Eleanor's 18 Month Pics

Had so much fun getting Eleanor's 18 month pictures taken today. She loved it and was totally cooperative. And I think they turned out really cute. Here is a sample.

Cuteness

Just a few quick pics of the girls before church on Sunday. Occasionally these two actually love one another.

I had Eleanor's pacifier and she wanted it back. "Ha, ha, that's very funny Mom, now give it back."

Penelope wouldn't look at the camera and smile at the same time.

Organizing

I love to organize. There is just no other way to say it. My wonderful husband, who knows how nutty I am, decided to get me a present as a surprise after I got home from my sister's weekend. What did this amazing man get me? A labeler. I already have one labeler, but he saw this upgraded version at Sam's club and couldn't resist. And I love it! We spent one of our evenings together in his garage, watching Lord of the Rings and organizing his garage. Him rearranging things, me labeling. I guess I am not the only nutty one.

Anyway, I recently taught a class on organizing your home and I had such a great time, and I hope the ladies that attended it did too. I have a great handout and if any of you would like a copy I will email it to you. (I can't figure out how to attach a file on here.)

In a previous post I included pictures of my dress-up holders, which by the way are fantastic! The girls are so good about putting the dress-ups back away and only getting out the ones they want to wear. So, I thought I would post a picture of another thing I love that makes my life with little girls easier. I got this Mary Kay jewelry holder from my sister Angela. It is double sided and has so many little pockets that are perfect for holding the thousands of hair things you inevitably have when you have little girls. I have it hanging behind the door in the girls' bathroom and it is so wonderful to be able to find everything so easily. I love things that make my life a little simpler!
