Cuteness

Just a few quick pics of the girls before church on Sunday. Occasionally these two actually love one another.

I had Eleanor's pacifier and she wanted it back. "Ha, ha, that's very funny Mom, now give it back."

Penelope wouldn't look at the camera and smile at the same time.

Organizing

I love to organize. There is just no other way to say it. My wonderful husband, who knows how nutty I am, decided to get me a present as a surprise after I got home from my sister's weekend. What did this amazing man get me? A labeler. I already have one labeler, but he saw this upgraded version at Sam's club and couldn't resist. And I love it! We spent one of our evenings together in his garage, watching Lord of the Rings and organizing his garage. Him rearranging things, me labeling. I guess I am not the only nutty one.

Anyway, I recently taught a class on organizing your home and I had such a great time, and I hope the ladies that attended it did too. I have a great handout and if any of you would like a copy I will email it to you. (I can't figure out how to attach a file on here.)

In a previous post I included pictures of my dress-up holders, which by the way are fantastic! The girls are so good about putting the dress-ups back away and only getting out the ones they want to wear. So, I thought I would post a picture of another thing I love that makes my life with little girls easier. I got this Mary Kay jewelry holder from my sister Angela. It is double sided and has so many little pockets that are perfect for holding the thousands of hair things you inevitably have when you have little girls. I have it hanging behind the door in the girls' bathroom and it is so wonderful to be able to find everything so easily. I love things that make my life a little simpler!

I love you

I love it when they start to talk.

Even when they learn to say no. :)

She's Got the Moves

Penelope has always had some unique dance moves and they just get more and more interesting every day. She doesn't get it from me so . . . .

Sew Fun

The girls and I went to Cokeville for about 10 days while Aaron was in Georgia for some training. We had a great time with Grandma and Angela and her kids. We also went over to Logan to see my siblings who live there. We spent some time at Amanda and Trent's house and the girls really enjoyed playing with Adrianne's toys. We stayed with Stephanie for a couple of days and we went out to Penny and Jeff's house. Penelope and Eleanor loved playing with Isabelle and Katy and it was a nice break for me because from the time we got to Penny's house Isabelle and Katy just took over and played with the girls the whole time. It is so nice to have nieces old enough to watch my girls and not worry about them.

While in Cokeville, I had the opportunity to try out my Mom's embroidery machine and do a little sewing. I made the girls hooded towels, 2 nightgowns for Penelope and 2 pajama pants for Eleanor. The embroidery machine was so cool and I really wanted to find another reason to use it. I'll have to think something up so when I visit this summer I will have an excuse to use it again.
Penelope loves her nightgowns. She would wear them every night if they never had to be washed. It is like wearing a dress to bed, and she loves dresses.Eleanor's pj pants
Can you see the little embroidered bees on the strawberry print? They are so cute!
