Penelope is 8!
Penelope requested pie this year instead of cake.
She was very happy to receive a sewing kit for her birthday this year.
She received this dress, with a matching dress for her doll, and these cute boots.
She was baptized on October 25. This is a picture with my sister, Penny, who Penelope is named after. Penny bought her this beautiful baptism dress and the necklace that Penelope is wearing.
We had a dinner for everyone that attended the baptism. Penelope requested a nacho bar, which was a huge hit. And this was her cake.
Our wonderful family members that were able to come to her baptism. Grandma Cox gave a fabulous talk about when she was baptized, Janet gave a talk on the Holy Ghost, Penelope sang "When I am Baptized," Morgan Casey gave the opening prayer, Grandpa Cox gave the closing prayer and Andrew, Alex and Nicholas Houston played the piano during the time that Aaron and Penelope were changing out of their wet clothes. It was all great.
Somehow Morgan escaped the family picture, so here he is with Penelope.
