This week was the fair in Shelby. I think the best part may have been walking in to the fair grounds. Penelope saw the buildings, the colorful flags and everything and started jumping up and down and squealing and yelling "look, flags." She was so excited and we hadn't even done anything yet. We decided it was a good time to introduce rides to Penelope and she had a great time. She loved the kid rides and she even held her arms ups when we went on the roller coaster and kept saying "wooooo." We only lasted about 2 hours at the fair because it was hot and both girls got tired rather quickly, but we had a great time.
We also got to go to the parade and I so wish I had had the camera with me to get a video of Penelope. She was jumping up and down, laughing hysterically and yelling "here they come" as she saw the different floats and cars coming down the road. It was so funny. I am so sad that I don't have a video of it.
Penelope won this little unicorn on a "fishing" game. 
Eleanor was so patient and enjoyed watching everything.

Looks like fun. They haven't had our fair yet, it is the first week of August. Last year I couldn't get Lane to go on a few rides, like the swings, for Fruitland Family Fun Days. Maybe this year at the fair or Fun Days again.
She's so cute Gwen! I can't imagine how different life would be with girls.
